After you have completed the first three rows of you Analytical Thinking Chart, it is time for you to research the bias that is potentially held by the BBC, and how this may have influenced the way in which it worded its article. Read through the information provided by the three websites linked below in order to gain an understanding of the political bias likely contained within the article published by the BBC. Feel free to also conduct your own research using other websites to investigate such bias. Subsequently, review your responses to the questions answered on your chart, and evaluate how the news outlet’s bias framed its reporting. Pay close attention to the sourcing and close reading questions in regards to this task.
